At the low end of the requirements for Grade I light base oils, base oil SN 150 is referred to as a light grade base oil. It is primarily employed in the manufacturing of lubricants and lubricant additives. It is a Group I base oil that has been refined using solvents.
Uses of Base Oil SN 150:
General-purpose oils.
Mould oil.
Transmission fluids.
Gear Oils.
Metalworking fluids.
Hydraulic Oils.
Transformer Oils.
Base Oil SN 300 is a defined as a light grade base oil and is a Grade I base oils. It is generally used in lubricant and lubricant additives production.
It has been solvent refined and hydrogen treated to take out impurities. And also use for blending for bio diesel and diesel product
Applications :
Base oil SN 300 works as a base stock for several industrial lubricants
Making Bio Diesel
Mould oil
Transmission fluids
Gear oils
Metal working fluids

Base Oil SN 500 is light grade base oil that meets the requirements for Grade I base oils' maximum limit. It mostly serves the manufacturing of lubricants. It is a Group I base oil that has been refined using solvents. It underwent hydrogen treatment to remove any impurities and complete the refining process.
The base oil serves as the building block of the final lubricant. A completed lubricant is a mixture of base oil(s) plus additives that is ready for use. Keep in mind that the basic oil's characteristics will change as a result of the additives that were incorporated into it. A refinery's primary job is to split crude oil into its usable components and eliminate the parts that belong to undesirable elements. Crude oil is separated and cleaned to produce base oils, or base stocks as they are commonly known. They are one of a number of liquid substances produced from crude oil.
Almost all of the lubricants used in plants today began as simple basic oils. The base oil category specifies the components of the oil, how it is produced, and how the lubricant responds to various conditions, such as intense heat. Base oils have been divided into five categories by the American Petroleum Institute (API) (API 1509, Appendix E). Out of petroleum crude oil, the first three types are refined.
